Handmade Scarab Cameo Clay pendant on bronze link chain. Crane Cameo is 1.5 inches tall by 2.5 inches wide on 20 inch chain.

The Scarab Cameo was first carved in wax to create an impression in the clay resembling Italian intaglio engravings.

"As a designer, I am interested in taking non-precious materials and elevating the perception of their worth. The polymer clay used in this design takes on the appearance of marble through subtle color choices, meticulously mixing and hand forming. Formed into classical shapes, the finished pieces are one of a kind and have a new level of  sophistication when combined with bronze and semi-precious stones."
